Below 'Margot' Study
My inclination to draw and paint began in early childhood. After pivoting away from higher education in music, I continued my art education at Kingston University Illustration and Animation BA, which provided a playful, experimental world in which to find my way back to my artistic voice. After my BA I spent some time volunteering and studying Art Psychotherapy, but soon realised I wanted to focus directly on an art practice. Now I am an aspiring freelance portrait artist, sensitively capturing spirit as well as likeness in oil paints. Parallel to this practice I collaborate within an international women's contemporary art collective 'the quiet conversation.'
SWA 2026
This is my first opportunity to display my work to the public. These exercises were done in the Winter term at Heatherley's Portrait Diploma course 2025.
